Aaron Wallis offers OPI or Occupational Personality Inventory, which is an online advanced management level psychometric that is UK based and highly validated. OPI is one of the most highly validated yet easy to interpret tools available to the UK commercial marketplace and provides a significant and substantive report on a range of managerial competencies and behaviours.

OPI (Occupational Personality Inventory) is an advanced psychometric that is published by Kenexa, the World’s second-largest human skills testing organisation. OPI is a complex tool that looks at 25 specific personality traits within the workplace and is based on Karl Jung’s widely accepted ‘big-five’ model of personality. OPI is a self-report questionnaire, i.e. it is completed online by the candidate, and provides an in-depth profile that can be used for both recruitment and development. OPI typically takes around 45 minutes and is 250 questions where the candidate are presented with behavioural statements and are asked how much the statement refers to them in the workplace on a scale from 1 (not at all like me) to 5 (very much like me)

What Does the OPI Assess?

The responses are then compared to a UK norm group (a relevant group of individuals that have previously taken the questionnaire and been independently assessed), either ‘management’ or ‘graduate’’
What Does an OPI Report Look Like?
OPI consists of four reports
- OPI Detailed Report – a ten to twelve-page report used by the interviewers and giving an overview on each of the individual 25 personality traits
- OPI Development Report – an eight to ten-page report detailing areas of development. This is normally kept on the personnel file as part of the employee’s development programme and is usually shared with the individual that completed the OPI.
- OPI Feedback Report – Given to the interviewee after the interview and giving extensive feedback
- OPI Summary Report – A two-page overview of the detailed report

How valid is OPI?
OPI is one of the most validated UK based management level psychometrics available to the UK Commercial marketplace.
OPI Costs
Aaron Wallis clients that are currently recruiting in partnership with Aaron Wallis are able to upgrade their psychometrics to the OPI at the cost price to Aaron Wallis, which is £80+VAT. The cost to clients not recruiting with Aaron Wallis is £195+VAT per person
