Internal Account Manager

Internal Account Manager, SaaS and Professional Business Services, £35,000 Basic, £50,000 OTE. Hybrid working (one day per week in the office). Package includes company pension, 26 days holiday + BHs, free parking.

This is a strategic business development role with a leading provider of technical software sold into engineering companies. The role is Hybrid (one day per week in the office) and the firm are based on Cambridge Science Park. The role is selling both software and associated professional consultancy services. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients, demonstrating the software and closing deals. To Apply you will need a proven track record in business to business sales and, ideally have a STEM related degree.

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager

* Conduct market research to identify and target key customer segments.
* Develop and execute social selling strategies (esp. LinkedIn).
* Create, send, and analyse email marketing campaigns using modern tools.
* Lead and manage all company social media activities.
* Develop and enhance the company brand online.
* Track and report on marketing and BD activity effectiveness.

* Proven track record in Business Development.
* Technical acumen and the ability to learn complex products.
* Strong planning, organisational, and independent working skills.
* Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Confident questioning skills, comfortable engaging with technical people.
* Commercial creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
* A demonstrable 'never give up' attitude and history of achievement (e.g., high-level sports, community leadership, significant personal challenges).
* Intelligence and the ability to think critically and act swiftly (degree helpful, not essential).
* High levels of ambition, coachability, and a desire to learn and grow.

In Return, You Will Receive

* £35,000 per annum basic salary.
