Business Development Manager, New Product Development, Construction Products into Builders Merchants, Yorkshire, £45,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (£55,000 OTE Year 1) + Car Allowance of £350 per month.

Hybrid Working + Full training.

Established in the 1970's, this major success story is a well known name in the construction industry and they are an instantly recognisable household name. Boasting significant resources and a state of the art manufacturing facility, this firm are looking for a creative and dynamic new product business development manager to turn ideas into reality.

With the full support of the commercial team, you will be working closely with clients to understand their pain points, report back on their problems, and then you will be working closely with the state of the art manufacturing team to create products that solve your clients problems. Put simply, you will turn their ideas and concepts into reality.

Due to strong finances and an incredibly experienced team, this firm can create new products within very short time frames and as such hold a very competitive and well respected status in the construction industry.

This is a consultative sales role, that is truly solution led and needs a polished, commercially aware sales person who wants that next step up in their construction career.

Ideally you will have worked for a manufacturer before and have sold products into construction related environments in previous roles. If you have experienced of finding/opening up new markets in previous roles, please apply as this is highly advantageous.
