Head of Sales

Head of Sales, Capital Equipment

£90,000 - £100,000 Basic Salary plus Bonuses and an executive benefits package including a BMW 5 Series or similar company car or a car allowance of £700 per month.

Are you a highly talented sales leader within the Capital Equipment sector with a proven record of delivering change?

This is a 100% people management role, where you will be responsible for a team of ten varied salespeople, including internal sales, National Account Managers and Business Development Managers. You will set the strategy and delivery model to achieve growth across several niche-specific business units.

What is Required?

* 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role - We are looking for a proven sales leader with a track record of success in managing and developing sales teams.
* A high-energy sales leader who is used to installing a 'hunter' culture into their sales teams - We are looking for a sales leader who is proactive, ambitious, and driven to succeed with a proven ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their goals.
* Experience within capital equipment selling into manufacturing, food processing, logistics, packaging or industrial markets - You have a deep understanding of the capital equipment sales process and experience in selling into the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
* A proactive sales leader with ideas and commercial creativity that is always looking for new opportunities - You are a creative thinker who is always looking for new ways to grow the business. You are not afraid to take risks and challenge the status quo.
* A proven track record of leading teams to deliver EBITDA and sales income growth - You have a proven track record of success in leading sales teams to achieve their financial goals.

In addition to the above, we are looking for someone who is:

* A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
* A results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.

You Will be Responsible For:

* Setting the strategy and delivery model to achieve growth across several business units
* Recruiting the talent required to deliver on the plan and drive the implementation of a positive growth culture
* Managing and developing the existing sales team.
* Supporting your team with client meetings and training
* Working closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to achieve the company's overall growth goals
