Global Sales Director, based in the West Midlands. Up to £100,000 Basic, + Bonuses (Circa £140,000 OTE realistic in Year One) + £8,000 Car Allowance + Private Healthcare + Excellent Benefits Package.
Overview
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Global Sales Director to join our client's team and lead their international growth efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, having worked for a consumer goods manufacturer.
Our client is investing heavily in their international growth and is seeking a high-level Global Sales Director to lead the charge. You will develop and execute the sales strategy, build the team, and oversee implementation. You will have significant resources at your disposal and the full support of the board and broader business. Experience in breaking into new territories and building them from scratch would greatly benefit.

You will set the strategy and delivery model to achieve this. You will recruit the talent required to deliver on your plan and drive the implementation on the ground.

What's Required? Key Competencies and Characteristics:
* 5+ years of sales experience within an international manufacturing organisation
* Experience managing end-user and e-commerce channels
* Experience in breaking into and setting up new territories. Experience breaking into the US market would be a huge plus.
* You will possess gravitas and gain immediate credibility with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* You will be a strategic thinker with a focus on execution
* Ability to lead, coach, and mentor others
* Ability to be coached
* Willingness to travel overseas regularly
