Technical Sales Manager £45,000 Basic Salary + Company Car + Bonus

Office Location: Sheffield

A fantastic technical sales role working for a market leading electrical engineering company within the manufacturing/industrial sector, where you play a key figure within the technical and sales functions of the business. Our client are specialist manufacturers of voltage optimisation solutions and have sold into a variety of blue-chip corporates. Their solutions enable a wide variety of businesses' manufacturing process across the UK to comply to the Government's "Net Zero" requirements, reducing their carbon footprint and saving money in the process.

Due to the technical nature of the role, to be a success applicant, previous technical experience within the industrial or engineering sector is a must, specifically hands on experience with Switchgear/Switchrooms and electrical qualifications to match.

Your technical aptitude and knowledge will be crucial to the overall success of the business, as a key part of the role will be taking a lead role and assisting the wider sales team on customer visits. Speaking in depth about technical issues that customers currently face, being able to propose suitable bespoke and off the shelf solutions to new and existing customers.

Experience that is required:

* Technical knowledge of Switchgears/Switchrooms/Main Income Supply at Industrial level.
* Knowledge of Voltage Optimisation would be desirable.
* Electrical qualifications.
* Experience meeting with new and existing customers, speaking in depth around their technical issues and requirements.
