Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Manager (Healthcare) - £39,000 Basic Salary + £8,000 Commission + Company Car (Hybrid)

A brilliant Area Sales Manager within the healthcare sector where you will be developing new business into existing accounts. This role will be best suited for a proactive Account Manager, who is constantly looking to upsell and grow existing accounts, being proactive as well as reactive. Our client are the market leaders in providing medical furniture and equipment into the healthcare sector, with 85% of their products being manufactured on site. Their large range of products and focus on quality has ensured that they have dominated the market and continue to do so. This role will be a homebased role, where you will meet with new and existing customers virtually, but there will also be occasions where you will be required to travel around the patch to meet in person, sometimes 1 or 2 days a week.

Please note, to be a successful applicant, previous experience selling into the NHS or Healthcare Sector is required.

The role:

* This role will be predominantly a homebased position, meeting clients virtually, occasionally face to face, with no requirement to go into the Dorset office.
* To represent the company and to establish and build long-term customer relationships. To provide all necessary reports and documentation as requested by the company to ensure visibility of the regional potential.
* Develop existing and new customers through pro-active planned individual account support, whilst working to develop the regional territory plan with National Sales Manager to achieve sales targets
* Network with key stakeholders and decision makers to promote our client's brand and products through pro-active, planned sales visits / appointments.

What is required from you?

* Previous experience selling into the NHS/Healthcare sector is required.
* You will be responsible for a large territory, South of the UK and across to the South-West, so previous experience of managing large territories is required.
* Have previous experience in a sales position where you can demonstrate meeting with customers virtually and face to face.
* Experience working on a CRM system, constantly updating, and ensuring all activity get logged within.
