International Sales Executive, Marine Instrumentation. £40,000 Basic, £80,000+ OTE plus + Car + Excellent Benefits Package. A challenging and exciting role for an international manufacturer of instrumentation components such as controls and sensors that are sold into both end-users and OEMs. The products are high-quality, British-made, keenly priced, and beat competitors' technologies for the equivalent investment. End-user clients are vast but this role focuses on Marine, Offshore and some defence.



The firm is recognised as a niche product leader yet is still owned wholly by the founding family and retains the 'family feel'. Consequently, staff are well looked after and receive a generous overall benefits package. The average tenure in the UK sales team is nearly nine years.

The criteria that we are looking for are:

+ A highly talented sales professional with technical sales experience, and the ideal experience will be within engineering software, instrumentation, sensors or controls.

+ A great networker with a decent understanding of developing business using social media and LinkedIn.

+ Someone interested in engineering principles and enjoys being a 'sponge' for new technologies and processes.

You will be an articulate and commercially oriented individual who can manage a large pipeline of potential and speak engineers' language.

You will be a goal-focused individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills. Also, you will be well-rounded with a positive outlook and always looking to learn new skills.

The role is Worldwide, but the primary emphasis will be on the UK and Europe. It is home base, with occasional International travel and monthly meetings at the HQ in Hampshire. Please note that the position requires you to be a driver.
