National Head of Sales, Sales Director, Business Services
National Head of Sales, Sales Director, Business Services, Up to £110,000 Basic plus Bonuses (circa. £140K OTE in Year One) + Executive Car + above standard pension + Excellent Benefits Package. This is a challenging and exciting role for an experienced sales leader. The position is leading six separate group business unit sales managers that in turn manage around fifty telesales, sales support, and marketing staff.
The vital criteria that we are looking for are:
+ A highly talented sales leader with a proven record in delivering change
+ Sales Leadership of internal and external sales teams - ideally leading separate group units and 'managing managers'.
+ Strong Strategic ability - a reasonable general commercial understanding and business terminology. Some experience within a Plc. at some point in your career would be helpful.
+ An individual that leads with energy and encourages new ways of thinking and increasing business. Someone with a 'growth mindset' that realises that the way that business is done today may not be that of the future.
+ Proven track record of delivering growth in both EBITDA and sales income
+ Extremely high levels of gravitas, credibility and general leadership skills
+ A Lack of ego that thrives on ownership, responsibility and accountability
Industry experience is not required, although your experience will be from leading primarily proactive sales teams, probably across several sites.
The group is growing both organically and through acquisition and reports into the CEO, who is actively hoping that the chosen individual will be their successor. The company enjoys low levels of staff attrition and encourages promotion from within.
You will set the strategy and delivery model to achieve growth across all six business units. You will recruit the talent required to deliver on the plan and drive the implementation of a positive growth culture. Significant resources will be made available to you, and you will have the full cooperation and support of the group board and the broader business to deliver on your joint ambitions.
This business has grown sharply and steadily for several years; they are ahead of the market in terms of product, marketing strategy and delivering new and ever-improving solutions. They are stable and financially very strong, possessing both the intent and resources to ensure that their growth plans are realised.
