Business Development Executive

Business Development Executive £28,000 Basic Salary + £15,000 Uncapped Commission

Location: Reading

A fantastic sales role within the technology sector selling to a variety of new and existing customers, where new business leads will be provided from a warm database, there will be no cold calling! You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, doing both Business Development & Account Management.

Our client is a market leader within the tech industry, selling a variety of bespoke Audio-Visual solutions to businesses across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a fast-growing business, where they're looking for someone to join the sales team who has a hunger for progression and self-development.

Within the position you'll be working through a warm database, predominantly speaking to existing customers who are currently dormant, whilst also prospecting new business opportunities, where you will have full autonomy to venture down new markets.

A consultative approach to sales is required, where you'll be required to fully understand the customers current situation, tailoring your pitch around their requirements. Fact finding and build relationships with customers is a key part of the role, capturing their initial interest in the products, answering any queries they might have, fulfilling their needs and secure the sale!

What is required from you?

* 1 year's sales experience in a phone-based sales role, now looking to take the step up in your career.
* Personality is key! - You must be driven, motivated, with a desire to progress within a growing company.
* Have a "hunter" mindset and a resilient approach to sales.
* A great communicator and are comfortable speaking to a range of stakeholders over the phone.
