People looking for sales jobs need to ensure they take advantage of work experience opportunities if they want to improve their CV and increase their chances of getting hired, according to one newspaper.
The Mirror said that younger candidates should use internships as a way to impress potential employees and improve their skills for positions like sales jobs.
Recruitment manager for Manpower Jane Langley said: "School leavers and graduates should consider temporary roles, as these will give them the opportunity to expand their skills and improve their CV with relevant work experience."
She added that candidates who take temporary roles or work experience will show employers that they are hard working and have the ambition to succeed in sales jobs.
Researching a company that you want to work for is also noted as being important by the newspaper, which claims it will show an employer that a candidate took time to learn about the role.
Other skills that candidates can add to their CV in order to impress a potential employer include better green credentials which the Independent newspaper said will give applicants an edge over rivals.
