Business Development Manager, SaaS, £30,000 Basic, £60,000 OTE + Benefits. With a product offering that combines data from multiple sources and harnesses artificial intelligence to provide unique, valuable information to clients, this is a technology company that is enjoying significant growth. Having received its second round of funding, this scale-up is looking to recruit business development professionals to capture market share by making circa 40 sales pitches a day and 2 product demonstrations. This conceptual sale can be quite complex, but when demonstrated to wither business owners or heads of business development, it usually results in a sale. Based on information in the public domain and the behaviour of web visitors, it provides significantly higher conversion rates to the large competing tools within this space. In addition, it is well priced against the competition and offers features and integration with CRM systems that beat the leading two players in their space.

This is a new business-oriented sales role that requires a confident and articulate sales professional with proven experience in a proactive and targeted sales environment where the opportunity to earn is completely uncapped.

Previous experience within software sales is not required, but you must have worked in a role where you have been researching and making upwards of 40 sales calls per day. Therefore, applications are welcomed from anyone that has been in a proactive sales, telesales or telemarketing role.

Unusually, we are looking for a 'mindset', so you must be the kind of person that always has an eye for new business opportunities and is a strong character that 'makes it happen'. The opportunity to earn is uncapped, and in the second and subsequent years, you should earn more than £75K.

We are solely looking for the very best B2B sales professionals that are new business-oriented and looking for the chance to break into software and business intelligence.

To apply, you must be able to demonstrate sales achievement. Please note, that this is a business development role in the purest sense, i.e. researching targets, making introductions, closing for demos and undertaking web-based demonstrations. It will not be an 'easy ride' and will require drive, determination, goal orientation and tenacity.

Please note that advanced psychometric tools will form part of the recruitment process to ensure that you have the fundamental personality traits of determination and drive required to succeed in this role.
