Home Based Business Development Manager, SaaS. £50,000 Basic, £70,000 OTE + share options. Requiring a strong mix of sales and marketing skills, this is an outstanding role with a well-funded and established provider of SaaS solutions. The company provide software that improves staff compliance and reduce risk in all workplaces. However, their recognised expertise is within hazardous environments such as oil and gas process, chemical manufacture, etc. Clients include international corporates with complex bespoke needs, and order values are often large.

To apply, you must have experience in selling SaaS into medium and large-sized enterprises with a 'hunter' approach and an excellent understanding of using modern marketing methods to generate leads and to make connections with the right types of senior-level decision-makers.

The role is home-based with virtual meetings, software demonstrations, and follow up calls. As the impact of COVID lessens, it could also involve some overseas travel.

So, what exactly are we looking for?

* A minimum of 2-years proactive sales and marketing experience and terrific knowledge of inbound marketing methodologies, including tools such as Hubspot or similar, Email Marketing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.;

* You will be skilled at attracting the right contacts into your pipeline via content marketing, 'white papers', social media marketing, SEO and branding;

* You will have a proven track record of high business growth and complex software sales, ideally into large international corporates. Within your CV, we are looking for career stability and a logical career path, and one that demonstrates resilience and achievement against targets. If not currently detailed, please update this on your CV before applying;

* You will be 'marketing savvy' with a genuine interest in social marketing methods and be laser-like in the way that you focus on specific targets in a defined market segment. Also, you will be the type of person that is always looking to 'keep your saw sharp' to ensure your skills and knowledge remain up to date.

* You must be happy working autonomously, setting your performance indicators and enjoy using CRM systems effectively for maximum efficiency. You will passionately believe in the innate relationship between high activity levels, effective pipeline prioritisation and sales revenue.

* You must have a professional home office set up and be used to undertaking remote screen sharing sessions and product demonstrations;

* You will be an ambitious and career-driven individual that is looking for a long-term career option where equity will form part of the package after twelve months. Also, the role has the potential to develop into a UK board role within twenty-four months.

* Ideally a graduate in a business-related discipline, you will be commercially astute with excellent communication skills and possess the emotional intelligence to engage at all levels. Decision-makers are typically highly detail-oriented and risk-averse and to gain their confidence requires a highly consultative and respectful approach to guide them through the sales process.

Core aptitude, emotional intelligence, personal motivation, and the ability to connect are the essential requirements. As such, the recruitment process includes Video Interviews, personality psychometrics and advanced aptitude testing.
