Sales Executive (PT) ,Oxfordshire

Part Time B2B Technical Sales Executive, Thame, Flexible Hours, £25,000 Basic Salary (pro rata to £16,500 for a 25-hour week) + bonuses + pension.

This is a fascinating part time business development role with a leading provider of capital equipment and associated software and consultancy into manufacturers and specialist integrators. This is a role where in agreement with the Managing Director, you can fit the hours around your work-life balance and could be ideal for a home carer or parent returning to work looking for a role that can fit around their other commitments. The hours can be flexible, to fit around the 'school run' if necessary but ideal hours are circa 09:30AM to 2:30PM each day (five hours per day, Monday to Friday).

The role requires a polished sales professional that is used to researching their own leads, networking existing contacts and leveraging existing relationships to maximise lead generation and appointments for the field sales engineers. You will have a fantastic, natural way of building empathy, creating need, information gathering and handholding the client through to the point of an appointment with a Sales Engineer. In addition, you will be tasked with inviting key target decision makers to personal development events sponsored by the manufacturer.

This is a role where you will be judged on the quality of the calls, rather than the quantity. It is ideal for a passionate and service oriented sales professional that is intelligent, planned and can genuinely form strong business partnerships across all levels.

To apply you must have business to business sales experience and the absolute ideal candidate will have previous industrial, engineering or IT sales experience. The role requires a persuasive and articulate sales professional that is a 'sponge for information' who enjoys learning new technical products and understanding your customers manufacturing processes.

The role is based from bright, open plan offices, with plentiful parking. They enjoy a great team culture where everyone works together as a team to ensure the ongoing success of the organisation.
