Marketing Assistant

Position: Marketing Assistant Reports to: Head of Marketing

Hours of Work: 38 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 8.30pm - 5.15pm Location: Letchworth

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000 per annum



Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and market opportunities.
* Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights for strategic planning.

* Customer Feedback: Seek and collect customer feedback through phone, survey and emails to create compelling case studies and testimonial
* CRM Management: Keep the CRM system up to date with accurate and current customer information.
* Sales Support: Assist the sales team by creating engaging sales decks and presentations.
* Analytics Gathering: Collect and analyse marketing and sales data to inform decision-making and strategy.
* Proofing: Proof-reading marketing material
* Ad hoc: Ad hoc admin and marketing tasks

Requirements:

* Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience: Previous experience in a marketing role or internship is a plus.
* Skills:

* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is highly desirable.

* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
* Proactive and willing to take initiative.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Must be comfortable speaking to customers on the phone
