Sales Engineer £33,000 + £7,000 Bonus + Car Allowance
Location: Edinburgh (M8 Corridor)
A fantastic Sales Engineer position where you will be target existing customers, OEM's, system integrators and end users. Our client is a market leader within the Automotive, Scientific & Environment sectors, selling a bespoke range of measurement and analytical instruments.
Whilst the role is largely managing existing key accounts, it is best suited for an individual that can work autonomously and has a terrific ability to seek out new business opportunities within existing and also new customers.
The role will be 50% client facing, 50% working from home, providing you with flexibility to have a better work life balance. You will be covering a patch from the M8 Corridor down to the North of Manchester, with most existing accounts sitting within the M8 region.
This technical position will be complimented with a high level of autonomy, providing you with the freedom to manage your own sales pipeline and diary, scheduling your own appointments and meetings.
Fantastic progression opportunities will arise in the not-too-distant future, with roles such as Regional Sales Manager becoming a realistic step up within a few years.
What is required from you?
* Technically minded with an Engineering background, being able to host complex discussions to potential new and existing customers.
* Previous sales experience is required, ideally in a customer facing role where you can demonstrate experience of business development as well as account management.
* Have a tenacious and driven approach to sales, showing the ability to seek out all potential opportunities available.
