Head Of Sales, Manufacturing, £75,000 basic + Commission OTE £100,000+ , based in Bristol.

This is a board level Head Of Sales position working for a long standing and award winning manufacturer of construction and scientific related products based in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to build out the sales department where you will have responsibilities to manage, mentor and develop the sales team to ensure the continued growth of the business.

With experience of managing sales led teams at board level you will be an extremely talented director that is tenacious, proactive and confident with the genuine ability to effectively communicate across all levels. You will have strong commercial and financial awareness with a scientific approach to analysing sales figures and trends.

Their specialist product range is sold into a wide variety of industries such as Medical & Pharmaceutical, Motorsport, Healthcare, Precision manufacturing, Academia, Manufacturing and many more exciting industries.

This is the ideal role for an organised, tenacious, systematic and target driven individual with experience from within the construction industry who is perhaps frustrated by a lack of autonomy or ability to put their own stamp on their current role. In this role will be given the complete freedom and autonomy to implement strategy and direction, and you will NOT be micromanaged.

You will be an enabler of change and possess a 'new management thinking' approach to business development. As such you will be well versed with changing sales methodologies and new ways to market products. You will have a positive and proactive 'can do' attitude that passionately ensures that their strategy becomes a success. You will recover quickly from setbacks and have the courage to stand up for your own beliefs and for the interests of the business. Above all, you will be a genuine team player and team leader that listens to their people and encourages an open environment where people feel confident and comfortable in airing their views and ideas for progression.

Ideally you will be a seasoned sales person, who is used to working with Architects, Contractors, Specification Projects and have excellent working knowledge of selling into the construction sector.

In return you will earn a six figure package which consists of a £70K to £75K+ basic salary negotiable upon experience and achievements + lucrative commission structure.
