A brilliant, flexible working, Business Development Manager position where you'll be tasked with managing the full sales cycle, converting warm leads, and then developing the Tier 1 enterprise accounts for a market leader within the Audio/Visual industry. This Business Development sales role requires no cold calling, all leads will be warm and passed over from an internal sales team!

Our client specialises in the technology sector, specifically Audio/Visual industry, with an exceptional product range of very high value. If you are an experienced client facing Business Development Manager looking for more of a flexible role with higher responsibility, this is the perfect role for you!

For the initial couple of months, you will be required to go into the Reading office twice a week, upon completion of your training, this will become a fully remote position.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Convert warm, new business leads which are passed over from an internal sales team, meeting with new clients face to face and remotely, to complete the sale, demonstrating a consultative approach.
* Manage the top 10 of our clients most prestigious tier 1 enterprise accounts, being the main point of contact for them, meeting with them to grow the accounts, accordingly, ensuring they don't go dormant.
* Present to C level executives, with a consultative approach to suggest a suitable solution that fulfils our customers' requirements and needs.
* Produce tenders and quotes, whilst constantly keeping the CRM system updated in the meantime.
* Sketch rough design ideas for the engineering/operations team to use to build the bespoke solutions.

What is required from you?

* Previous Business Development/Account Management experience within the AV sector for with a proven record of maintaining and growing accounts.
* Work autonomously, having the ability to make high value decisions on your own with confidence.
* Have an organised approach to sales, systematically working with new business and key accounts, having a 3-month pipeline plan.
* Can demonstrate excellent questioning techniques that enable you to discover/fact find more precisely with existing customers.
