Part of an International group, this British manufacturer of precision manufacturing equipment has an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and service and has captured considerable market share. This specialist sales role is selling capital equipment and the associated consumables and spares into a wide variety of industries.
This is an internally based technical sales role at the HQ in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, that requires travel across the DACH and Central European region. The role will involve staying away from home approximately 4 to 5 nights per month. This technical and sometimes complex sales role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys solution selling and ideally is qualified to HNC or above level in engineering, electronics, or a similar engineering discipline. While leads are generated for you by both marketing and the lead generation team, this is a sales role. It involves fully understanding the client's needs and following up and managing the pipeline to secure the sales. The position is selling to end users while also managing and supporting the distributors and agents across the DACH and Poland region.
With full responsibility for the Central and Eastern European region, you will proactively manage and develop the region as well as securing large end-user sales together with the agents and distributors.
As a salesperson, you will be customer service oriented, enthusiastic, passionate and a team player. The ideal candidate will speak at least one further European language together with English.
